Program Manager


MY Parliament has proved the concept of simulated debates and is now eying to launch it on a large scale all over the country. To meet our ambitious goals, we are seeking to appoint a Program Manager assigned with following duties.

The goal of the Program Manager will be to supervise all the budgetary, outreach and marketing activities related to expansion and growth of MY parliament as an organization both in terms of reach and impact. Work on raising awareness about the planned seminars, workshops, simulated parliamentary debates, etc. The responsibility shall include conceptualising, create and organise promotional events for the growth of the organization.

Duties/Assignments : The Program Manager will:


  • Conceptualize, create and organise promotional events for the growth of the organization.

  • Handle communications with potential institutes for MYP events. Pitching the idea of MYP to as many institutes as possible all over the country and scale up exponentially.

  • Be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, participate in project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes.

  • Ensure close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners to guarantee smooth implementation of activities and achievement of results as specified in grant agreements.

  • Trouble shoot project problems. Identifies and implements creative solutions.

Event specific roles :


1. Outreaching Activities :

  • Mission is to increase participation in MY Parliament events

  • Handling communications with potential institutes for MY Parliament events

  • Pitching the idea of MYP to as many institutes as possible all over the country and scale up exponentially

  • Recognise needs for partnering with other supporting organizations and handle the collaboration process



2. Marketing & Promotional Objectives :

  • Act as bridge for Executive team and operation managers for day to day requirements and ensure all the task are on track.

  • Handling PR and media relations in coordination with MYP PR executives.



3. Coffee meetups :

  • Look for opportunities to organize coffee meetups with the help of all in contacts, promote MY parliament events and encourage candidates for maximum participation.

  • Promoting Abhivyakti (blogging), Research-Shala and Sutradhaar during the meetings.



4. Campus Ambassador :

  • Reaching out to maximum number of institutes to have a campus ambassador and coordinate with him/her to further organise coffee meet-ups or day events.

  • Keeping in touch with them and handing their aspirations.






Qualifications :


  • Graduate (Experience preferred)

  • Good communication Skills

  • Good computer knowledge – Should be able to work with members on remote locations

  • Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power-point)

Remunerations :
25-30 K

Job Type :
Full Time. 9 Hours (Monday- Saturday)
